The third annual symposium of Cochin Cancer Research Centre, titled CanQuer 2019 was jointly hosted by the Kerala Startup Mission from 8th Nov to 10th Nov 2019 at the Technology Innovation Zone, Kalamassery, Kochi. The theme of the symposium was “Technology to eliminate cancer care disparity”. The conference brought together oncologists, technocrats, policymakers, researchers, healthcare technology startups, venture capitalists and industry leaders under one umbrella. This conference discussed on ground-breaking research, latest technologies, digital disruptions, global best practices and case studies that are transforming the possibilities in cancer care and cure.

During the Conference Sascan exhibited their OralScan multimodal imaging device. The device received lot of appreciation and attracted the attention from oncologists, domain experts and healthcare providers. The initiative of the company to introduce an affordable and portable screening device to detect potentially malignant diseases of the oral cavity during its early stages of development was appreciated by the healthcare providers and clinicians.
