CureWrap

CureWrap

CureWrap is a new Photobiomodulation (PBM) device that can be wrapped around any affected areas of the body for pain relief and inflammation reduction.  It has an array of 120 LEDs emitting at 660 nm (red light) and 850 nm (near-IR light) driven using a rechargeable power bank (3600 mAh) for cordless operation.  All together there are 360 chips (1*660 nm and 2*850nm) arranged in a panel of size 40×20 cm, generating an output power 500mW per LED and irradiance of 150mW/cm2 at the surface.  The programmable device can switch between LEDs and also operate in either cw or pulsed mode. There is timer that automatically switches off the device in 15 mins of operation.  The power bank is charged using the type-C socket provided.

Irradiation using these wavelengths of light increases blood circulation, stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, which can lead to pain relief, inflammation reduction and anti-aging effects on the skin. It also provides essential energy for cellular renewal, improves skin tone, elasticity, reduces plumpness and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Low level light therapy (LLLT) using these light sources also helps with lymphatic drainage to eliminate toxins. Irradiation with 660 nm stimulates the production of ATP, whereas the 850nm near IR light penetrates to the deepest levels to create a warm and soothing feeling to the muscles and relieve arthritic pain, muscle pain, joint pain and stiffness,

Joint inflammation and swelling get completely eliminated through repeated use. CureWrap is easy to use, and cordless operation makes it possible to use the device while lying down, reading or walking.  A wide elastic strap is provided to keep the pad intact with the body during treatment.

In addition to relieving of muscle joint pains and inflammation, CureWrap can also be used for weight loss (reduce waist line), removal of aging spots and wrinkles and hair regrowth.
